Light Warrior (軽戦士) is a class in the Valkyrie Profile series that can use swords. Light Warriors are referred to as Swordsmen in Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume. They are noted for their high attack speed and combos, as well as gaining support abilities in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

Swordsmen of Valkyrie Profile have quick multi-hit attacks. Lenneth is unique in that she is both a Light Warrior and an Archer, depending on the weapon equipped.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria[]
Battle[]
Light Warriors of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria are quick and accurate in their attacks, and can string together high combos (up to twelve hits). One of their main jobs is to rack up combos. With high AGL, and above average for the other stats, the Light Warrior is an integral part of any team. While the damage they deal is lesser than that of a Heavy Warrior or Archer, they have access to weapons with innate Critical Skills and a large array of elemental weaponry. They also have access to a good range of armors, can launch enemies and can cast Menu Magic, most of which is healing or defense orientated. This class is female-exclusive.

Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume[]

Swordsmen of Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume have a movement range of four panels and an attack range of one panel (including diagonal panels). Swordsmen equip Swords as their weapon and can equip Helmets, Armors, Gauntlets, and Greaves for protective wear. They reprise their role of quick attacks and combo building.
